Choosing a Fly Assortment

Choose an assortment around the fishing situations you expect to encounter. Some sets may focus on a specific fly type, while others provide a broader mix of dry flies, nymphs, streamers or other patterns.

Compare the actual flies, sizes and quantities included rather than choosing by fly count alone. A useful assortment gives you practical options for changing food, water and presentation conditions.
