Eddy Atlas: Interactive Trout Fishing Map & Water Explorer
Eddy Atlas is Trout Eddy's interactive way to discover trout water and connect the map to the fishing information behind it. Explore mapped waters, reviewed access information and Trout Eddy fishing guides without turning the map into a second library of duplicate river pages.
Find the Water
Use Eddy Atlas to move from geography to an actual fishery. Select a supported water to see the mapped reach and available reviewed access information, then continue into the full Trout Eddy Water guide when you need the deeper fishing details.
Go From Map to Fishing Guide
Eddy Atlas is built for discovery. Trout Eddy Water pages remain the detailed fishing resources for individual rivers, streams and lakes, including fishery character, trout species, techniques, hatches, seasonal information, access context, regulations and related gear.
Current Eddy Atlas Coverage
Eddy Atlas is currently in its V0.1 proof stage. The live proof includes one mapped reach of Michigan's Au Sable River, from Burton's Landing toward Wakeley Bridge, together with one reviewed access record. Other waters shown in the interface are not yet part of the live proof.
Coverage Grows With Verification
Trout Eddy does not treat every blue line on a map as trout water or every nearby road as legal access. New Eddy Atlas records are added only as the geographic data, supporting sources, access evidence and publication checks required for that release are completed.
A Map Is the Starting Point, Not the Whole Fishing Guide
Eddy Atlas helps answer the first question: where should I look? From there, use Trout Eddy's individual Water pages to understand the fishery itself. A mapped reach does not by itself establish trout status, fishing permission, public ownership or current regulations. Always use the supporting information and official sources provided for the water you plan to fish.
